Sunway Pyramid Mobile App offers convenience at your fingertip!
Shopping is made more fun and plain-sailing with Sunway Pyramid Mobile App - Malaysia’s first interactive, easy-to-use mobile app which is integrated with unique functions - the most comprehensive in its category - including the Navi trail and car park locator, providing shoppers with a truly unique shopping adventure.
Available for download through Google Play and App Store, you can now get to Point A to Point B quickly without much fuss and hassle, as the app features an outlet navigator for mapping the perfect shopping journey in the mall with style. All shoppers need to do is to key in their current location and intended destination. Using a route map, this application will indicate the quickest way to head there.
“Living on the fast lane, it is important that shoppers can quickly gain product or service information,” says Phang Sau Lian, the Director of Marketing for Sunway Pyramid. “And this, can be done straightaway using our Mobile App,” she adds.
Are you those who often forget where they park in the mall? Fret not, as the free mobile app is also the first shopping mall offering a Mobile App that comes with a car park locator.
Always aiming to provide the best and most unique shopping adventure for shoppers, Sunway Pyramid has installed the NFC (near-field communication) chip onto every lifts and lift lobbies, allowing shoppers with a “one tap” interaction for their convenience.
Just place your Android phone in front of the NFC chip (only for NFC-enabled phones) and it will instantly lead you to download the Sunway Pyramid Mobile App.
The NFC chip will also provide another option for shoppers to download Sunway Pyramid Mobile App besides going though Google Play, App Store or QR Code.
Ever since its official introduction during the Malaysia Year End Sales last year, the Mobile App has now reached more than 32,000 downloads, leading the figures among all shopping malls’ mobile app in the country, with an average of 250 downloads per day.
Rewarding the shoppers who have downloaded the mobile app, the Tap.Shop.Save campaign was held from 5 – 21 April, where they can enjoy discounts and privileges offered in the “Extraordinary Deal of the Day”.
All shoppers had to do is download the mobile app, and flash the e-coupon on the items they wish to buy according to the daily offers. The monthly shopping planner would then appear on the “Happenings” category, and among the offers include enjoying special prices at Crabtree & Evelyn, 50% off for 2 pieces of XIXILI, 20% on ALDO products and many others.
Other participating outlets were Miss Selfridge, The Body Shop, Dorothy Perkins, DIVA, Warehouse, TOPSHOP, DKNY JEANS, G2000, Rip Curl, Springfield, TOPMAN and FOREVER 21. In the future, more e-coupon discounts and exclusive invites will be offered to reward shoppers when they shop at Sunway Pyramid.
As the Mobile App carries information on more than 160 F&B outlets, categorised under Western, Mediterranean, Asian, Fast Food, Japanese, Local, Snacks & Confectioneries, it is easy for shoppers to decide on what to eat or drink while they are at the mall. Under the “Happenings and Promotions” categories, they can view a detailed listing of sales and events which are currently going on in the mall.
The Directory allows shoppers to browse for shops based on category, zone or floor, in which certain key words can also be typed in to provide quicker search for the info, map location and other details about the shop. The interactive map allows for the search of other amenities, including the restrooms, parents and baby rooms, ATMs, Concierge Counters and other services provided in the mall.
Not only that, there are also feedback button in which shoppers can give their ideas and suggestions, and reminders on Child Safe shopping, which includes some useful advice for parents and safety tips while riding on the escalators, and the emergency call button in which shoppers could call immediately for assistance.
Besides all of the features, the mobile app also provides details, directions and locations of Sunway Resort City, which includes Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa, Sunway Lagoon, Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway University and Monash University Sunway Campus, making it easier for those who wish to make their way there from the mall.
