Wildest Football Fantasy Online Prize Giving Ceremony

DreamEPL was an online football fantasy game, which was based on the English Premier League championship. Players assembled a team of real life players and they will play as a team, also known as the ‘dreamteam.’ Players will then score points based on the players’ statistical performances in matches that they play over the course of the season. The main aim of this game, was to accumulate as many points as possible, in order for the particular player to be on top of the ‘Leaderboard’ at the end of the season.

DreamEPL.com was the brainchild of MNC Wireless Berhad, the Mobile VAS (Value Added Services) pioneer and specialist. With IDP or iDreamProducts Ltd, a specialist in the provision of intelligent online Infotainment Portals based on major sporting events, this online football fantasy game turned out to be a success. This online football fantasy game had become the talk-of-the-town not only for football lovers but also everyone. This fantasy game allowed the football lovers who want to have a feel of managing their own dreamteam.

Grand Prize winner, Ms Fan Choy San from Kuala Lumpur received a cheque with the amount of RM10,000.00 from MNC Wireless Berhad CEO, Ms Jasmine Lee Sze Inn, shared her secret on how to manage her dreamteam called, “Derby County” with the average score of “94.20”. Ms Fan said, “This was a joint effort together with my husband, where both of us took turns to manage and monitor closely on the players we chose. We always debated on who should we change or buy next but at the end of the day, it was fun and we exchanged opinion in a healthy way that will bring the relationship closer”.

The 1st Runner Up winner, Encik Ahmad Muzaini from Kuala Lumpur named his team “Spurs XI” collected an average score of “91.30”, received a cheque with the amount of RM5,000.00 said, “This was not an easy game, where you have to spend time watching the performance of the player that you’ve bought in real life during the EPL game”

The 2nd Runner Up team, with the winning of RM3,000.00, called “Merdeka FC” with the average score of “88.60”, En Zubir Mohamed Noor from Perak. Encik Zubir said, “I named my dreamteam as ‘Merdeka FC’ in conjunction with our 50th anniversary Merdeka celebration this year”.

Last but not least, the 3rd Runner Up winner, En Md Azmi Sarman from Kuala Lumpur also collected an average score of “87.80” said, “This was a real fun game where we got the feel as a football manager, managing a football team. It’s not an easy job as you need to be sharp and know how to evaluate and carefully choose a real dreamteam”, after receiving a cheque with the amount of RM2,000.00.

“DreamEPL is a first online football fantasy game that MNC Wireless Berhad that rolled out successfully with overflowed demands among the football lovers. We hope to continue this football fantasy game in the next EPL season”, said Ms Jasmine Lee Sze Inn, CEO of MNC Wireless Berhad.
