ReadSoft makes Malaysia its regional headquarters

KUALA LUMPUR – February 19th, 2008 – ReadSoft Asia, a Swedish based world leading supplier of software for document automation, today announced it has made Kuala Lumpur its Asia Regional Headquarters. The establishment of the regional headquarters is part of its global expansion plans to enhance its presence in Asia, a region the company expects to be a key contributor to its future growth for the document automation market.

The regional headquarters was officially opened by Her Excellency Mrs. Helena Sångeland, Ambassador of Sweden accompanied by Mr. KK Tung, Managing Director, ReadSoft Asia and Mr. Peter Horwing, Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing, ReadSoft AB.

In her speech, Her Excellency expressed her happiness at ReadSoft’s move to open their regional office in Malaysia. “Readsoft is a proud example of Swedish innovation. Innovations such as this are one of the success factors of Sweden’s development into one of the most advanced nations in the world. ReadSoft is now expanding its operations and its decision to set up a regional office here in Kuala Lumpur shows Malaysia’s continued relevance for foreign companies who seek to enhance their presence in the dynamic region of Asia.”

ReadSoft’s new office will serve the Asian region. Having served clients in the Asian region for the past 10 years the establishment of the regional office will facilitate faster response and services for ReadSoft’s growing client base as well as serve as a reference center for all ReadSoft’s Asian clients.
