SAP HONOURS PARTNERS FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – April 7, 2008 – SAP Malaysia named the winners of its 2007 Partner Awards, recognizing the top-performing partners. The event, held recently at Sunway Lagoon, saw more than 200 partners and guests in attendance.Selected from SAP Malaysia’s wide-ranging partner base consisting of SAP Business All-in-One providers, SAP Business One and Services partners, nominations were evaluated on numerous criteria to determine winning partners in each product category.

The award nominees were selected from more than 40 certified SAP partners in the country via a combination of factors taken into account. This includes operations and client management, client servicing needs and offerings, management of customers’ human capital, company size, profitability, demonstrated capabilities and staff training or certifications.

Some of the awards were for Top Partner, Most New Customers, Best ERP Deal, Sales Operation Excellence and Country Services Excellence. The Top Partner Award went to Selatan Technology Sdn Bhd. whose small team did not deter them in their pursuit of excellence. They gave a sterling performance, achieving 150% of the forecasted numbers, to become the top contributor for revenue last year.

ObTech Asia Pacific swept the most awards including Country Top All in One partner, Highest Revenue Contributor (SAP Business All-in-One), Fastest Closure (SAP Business One) and Most New Customers for Business One, to name a few. Their focus, determination and discipline resulted in their strong understanding of their customers and market needs and how they were able to fulfill those needs.

Vantage Point Consulting Sdn Bhd won the award for Country Services Excellence 2007. The most prestigious award under the global and national services partner category, Vantage Point was the acknowledged winner based on their key wins and significant implementation of SAP projects as well as the highest contribution by a partner for incremental revenue. Apart from helping build a large pipeline for new and upcoming projects, Vantage Point played a significant role in working with SAP’s team for the wins in Pos Malaysia Bhd, Perbadanan Putrajaya as well as Proton Holdings Bhd.
