Symantec and Microsoft Join Heroic Forces to Extend Next-Generation Windows Protection

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – Apr. 9, 2008 – Symantec Corporation (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced the extension of its comprehensive, next-generation Windows protection solutions for businesses in Malaysia at Microsoft’s much-anticipated Heroes Happen Here launch recently.

Symantec’s integrated Solutions for Windows portfolio is a testimonial of its leadership in addressing the most pressing management, security and availability requirements for organisations running on Windows platform today. This strategic collaboration with Microsoft enables improved security and management features in Microsoft Windows Server 2008 that can help increase productivity and provide more consistent, reliable service to customers.
