Singapore, May 9, 2008. T-Systems has appointed John H. Lee as Senior Vice President of ICT Operations in Asia-Pacific. As ICT Head of Asia-Pacific based in Singapore, John’s main responsibilities will include driving growth in the Asia-Pacific region and developing the Malaysia location into a point of production as part of the global ICT expansion strategy.
“John is a renowned expert in the ICT businesses. His experience and regional orientation, accompanied by his outstanding market and product knowledge will help drive this region’s growth momentum”, emphasized Nicolas Soergel, T-Systems’ Head of Asia Pacific region. In Asia-Pacific, T-Systems provides ICT solutions to multinational customers including Airbus, Allianz, Bosch, Infineon Technologies, Mitsubishi Motors, Volkswagen and Shell.
Since mid-2004, John had been responsible for "Integrated Technology Services" as Head of British Telecom ITS Asia Pacific. Before that, John was Head of Solutions Design at SITA/SC Asia-Pacific. John also served in Equant Network Services as their Regional Manager for Business Support and Director for Professional services. John was on the leadership team of Asia Global Crossing as their Technical Director for Asia Pacific; and with Apple as a Systems Engineering Consultant, with Digital Equipment as their Network Business Manager, and Standard Chartered Bank as their regional Telecommunications Manager.
John has a Master of Science in computer science at Birbeck College, University of London. He also has a Bachelor of Science (Combined Honours) in business management and computer science from Aston University in Birmingham.
