Putrajaya, Wednesday, May 8, 2008 - YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd. Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak, the Deputy Prime Minister today became one of the first members of the public to enjoy a dual sim, dual standby mobile phone introduced by a local company, XiMAX Communications Sdn Bhd.
The model was presented to the Deputy Prime Minister by the Executive Chairman of Protasco Berhad, YBhg Dato’ Hasnur Rabiain bin Ismail, during the former’s visit to an exhibition organised by the Kuala Lumpur Infrastructure University College (KLIUC) in conjunction with the InCID 2008 held on the 7-9 May 2008.Bearing the brand name XiMAX, the XS80 model boasts features such as the dual sim, dual standby capability with a bluetooth stylus. A dual sim, dual standby capacity will enable users to carry two different telephone numbers in one phone, with both numbers simultaneously on standby.
To be officially launched soon, the XS80 is the first of the XiMAX brands to be introduced to the public.
XiMAX Communications develops, manufactures and markets mobile phones models together with its strategic business partners in Hong Kong. In addition, Ximax Communications emphasizes on the quality control of its products.
