Beginning with the Smart Foto, this latest software from Fuji Xerox offers its users the creative freedom to personalize novelty items such as wedding albums, photo books, calendars and greeting cards through a downloadable client-side application which can be attained from the print provider’s website. They can then choose to digitally print and bind the end results and have them delivered right to their doorsteps with payments made online through the Smart Foto application.

The Smart Foto software feeds off the idea that consumers today do not need to travel to the photo print shop to produce hard copies of their digital work. Rather, they can do it now at their own convenience utilizing a simple home PC loaded with the freely distributed Smart Foto software to customize and personalize their digital photos. The print job can be submitted to the local print provider through the internet.

While Smart Foto provides ease of use for the end-users, The Fuji Xerox DocuColor ® 7000AP is designed to meet the diverse high-volume production needs of print providers in quick print, commercial print or in-plant environments. It has two operation modes; matte or gloss that can be selected on a job-to-job basis to ensure high levels of productivity and flexibility for a wide range of applications and surfaces. The Fuji Xerox DocuColor ® 7000AP also has an impressive rated speed of 70 impressions per minute and will produce high quality print results regardless of the paper weight or media type, from coated and uncoated papers to substrates such as labels, business cards, window decals and synthetic substrates such as polyester (a non-tear media).
