HAI Now Shipping WL3 for Windows Home Server

New Orleans, LA - HAI (Home Automation, Inc.), a leading manufacturer ofintegrated automation and security products since 1985, has announced it isnow shipping a new software product called WL3 for Windows Home Server (HAIPart Number 1112). WL3 is an Add-in for a Windows?Home Server that allowsyou to monitor and control your HAI Home Control System from any device witha web browser, such as a computer, PDA, Smartphone, BlackBerryTM, iPhone2.0TM, iPod TouchTM, etc.

WL3 allows you to change your home's temperatures, adjust the lights orsecurity settings, or view any supported camera securely and easily. WL3automatically configures supported UPnP IP cameras on your home network andallows you to manually configure other IP cameras on your network or camerasthat reside anywhere on the Internet. It also allows you to view cameras inyour home of from public IP cameras around town, such as traffic and weathercameras.

Regardless of the brand of camera, the video is displayed in the WL3 formatso that all camera feeds have a consistent look and feel. Easily select anycamera, choose the frame rate and screen size, manually start and stop videorecording, take a snapshot of the video image, and play, pause, or stop thevideo stream.

WL3 can also record video based on an event and/or send e-mails or textmessages. Recorded videos and snapshots are categorized and can be viewedanytime you log in, locally or over the Internet. WL3 continually monitorsyour home and can inform you of events such as the alarm system beingdisarmed, or a car entering the garage. Furthermore, WL3 is customizableand allows you to change the user interface by applying different graphicand color schemes, add RSS feeds, weather, sports, news, personal blogs andmore. WL3 will retail for $329 and requires an Ethernet enabled HAI homecontrol system and a Windows Home Server.
