Google’s enterprise-class free tool enables businesses to improve conversions and ROI of their sites and online marketing campaigns
Kuala Lumpur, 8 September 2011 – Google today highlighted the latest enhancements to its free Google Analytics™ site analysis tool to Malaysian marketers and web developers. Since 2005, Google Analytics has been helping site owners and marketers worldwide generate detailed statistics about visitors to their sites and in the process help enhance visitor experience, increase conversions and improve ROI.

Google Analytics is currently the most widely used website statistics service in the world. The newly announced additional features adds more strength to existing capabilities and improved flexibility to further customise and adapt Google Analytics according to the needs of marketers, advertising agencies and businesses of all sizes in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
The new features of Google Analytics include:
● Multi-Channel Funnels - Enables multi-channel attribution. Traditionally marketers value the effectiveness of their digital channels based on last-click attribution. This doesn't provide the whole picture on the value of channels prior to the last click. Multi-Channel Funnels aims to solve that by letting you see exactly which channels influenced customers’ decisions—giving a more detailed and accurate view of what works and what doesn’t.
● Improved Social Interaction Tracking - Google Analytics now has the ability to track user interactions with your + 1, Facebook and Twitter buttons.
● Better Mobile Reporting - Allows users to better understand visitors to their mobile websites and mobile applications (for iOS and Android).
● Page Load Time Tracker - Users now have the ability to understand how long it takes for their pages to load across different types of geographies, browsers and users.
"Google Analytics is now more powerful, flexible and intelligent to help marketers, advertising agencies and businesses of all sizes make quicker, smarter decisions on how to get the most business value out of their online marketing campaigns and websites. We believe that more transparency, data and analysis leads to more effective marketing, from sharing content to converting sales to increasing brand engagement," said Vinoaj Vijeyakumaar, Head of Web Analytics, Google Southeast Asia.
“With the new enhancements in Google Analytics, Malaysian marketers and site owners are able to discover which online marketing initiatives are cost effective and see how visitors actually interact with sites. This leads to more informed site design improvements, drive targeted traffic, and increase conversions and profits,” he added.
