The country’s leading No.1 property website, iProperty.com Malaysia, is pleased to announce the support by the Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Housing and Local Government on the company’s inaugural publication of a book entitled Malaysia’s Top Property Developers 2011/2012.
Minister of Housing and Local Government Malaysia, Dato’ Wira Chor Chee Heung and Minister of Tourism, Dato’ Sri Ng Yen Yen both commended iProperty.com for successfully putting the book together and trusted that the publication will significantly contribute to the growth of the property industry in Malaysia.
“It is an honour and privilege to endorse a publication which showcases Malaysia’s Top Property Developers. International real estate investors find Malaysia an attractive place to invest in and the government is always open to having discussions and dialogues with relevant industry players and house buyers to ensure policies, regulations and programmes formulated and implemented are fair in protecting the interests of all parties concerned.” added Dato’ Wira Chor Chee Heung.
Dato’ Sri Ng Yen Yen said in her forward message that since the inception of the Malaysia My Second Home Programme (MM2H) in 2002, over 16,000 foreigners have since made residence in Malaysia, attracted by its low cost of living, developed infrastructure, friendly Malaysians, attractive tourist destinations and quality of life.
“As more and more foreigners look towards Malaysia as their destination of choice, the Ministry of Tourism commends efforts by real estate property developers to develop outstanding residential properties across the country. Housing is an important component of modern living and we must ensure that the quality of life is upheld for local and foreign residents alike,” said Dato’ Sri Ng Yen Yen.
Commenting on this significant acknowledgment towards the publication, iProperty Group Chief Executive Officer Shaun Di Gregorio said, “As Asia’s leading and No.1 property portal group, it’s a tremendous honour to have the Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Local Government support this publication. With a dynamic and shared vision between all parties, we are able to put Malaysia on a trajectory to attract foreigners to invest and enhance the country’s competiveness in the industry.”
He further added that book, which will be launched in December, was also in line with the company’s mission to be innovative in finding avenues to promote the property industry in Malaysia to the world.
Amongst the top developers listed in the book include Berjaya Land Berhad, Country Heights Holdings Berhad, Dijaya Corporation Berhad, E&O Property Development, EUPE Corporation Berhad, Fuyuu Development Sdn Bhd (Hatten), Glenmarie Properties Sdn Bhd, Glomac Berhad, IJM Corporation Berhad, IOI Properties Berhad, Ivory Kiaramas Development, Mah Sing Group Berhad, Matrix Concepts Groups, MCT Homes Sdn Bhd, Mitraland Properties Sdn Bhd, MK Land Holdings Berhad, Nadayu Properties Berhad, Naza TTDI Sdn Bhd, Ong Chong Realty Sdn Bhd, OSK Property Holdings Berhad, PJD Development Holdings Group, PKNS Property, Sagajuta Sdn Bhd, Selangor Dredging Berhad, Sime Darby Properties Berhad, SP Setia Bhd Group, Sunsuria Development Sdn Bhd, Island and Peninsular Berhad, Sunway Holdings Berhad, Taman Jadi Sdn Bhd, UEM Land Holdings Bhd & Sunrise and United Malayan Land Berhad.
