~ TomTom launches unique customer experience-first at Kuala Lumpur’s CapSquare Mall ~
Malaysia, 9 November 2011 – TomTom, the world’s leading supplier of in-car location and navigation products and services, today announced the opening of the first TomTom Concept Store in Asia Pacific. Located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia the store is strategically positioned on the ground floor of the four-storey Pikom ICT Mall CapSquare.
The 690 square foot TomTom Concept Store is designed to complement and strengthen TomTom’s presence in Malaysia by offering customers a complete TomTom experience.
“The concept store is a great addition for TomTom in Malaysia. We are excited to connect with TomTom customers in a new way and to put the most up-to-date GPS technology in their hands,” said Brendan Danaher, Sales Director, South East Asia and Australia, TomTom.
The TomTom Concept Store offers customers a full understanding of TomTom’s technology, products and services and the company’s belief in offering smart GPS for daily drivers.
The TomTom Concept Store experience offers customers the opportunity to view videos on the technology behind TomTom’s leading mapping and routing software, which is included in all TomTom GPS devices. There are also product-specific videos, hands-on experience in using the various devices, many of which are pre-loaded with optional international maps and celebrity voices like Yoda, Darth Vader and Homer Simpson. Specially-trained staff are also on-hand for product demos of TomTom’s latest technology and devices.
The TomTom Concept Store displays the current range of TomTom portable navigation devices (PND) available in Malaysia including the: XL 250, XXL 550 and GO 750. It also displays additional TomTom accessories such as TomTom’s first 3-in-1 High Speed Multi-Charger, USB HOME Chargers, travel cases and covers, as well as various mounting solutions like the Air Vent mount, Friction Mounts, Adhesive Dashboard mounts, Dashboard mounting discs.
