Fujitsu and FalconStor Enter into Worldwide Reseller Agreement

Fujitsu to Bundle FalconStor NSS and Fujitsu Storage Solutions for Heterogeneous Storage Virtualization and Data Migration

MALAYSIA, KUALA LUMPUR, December 22, 2011—FalconStor Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: FALC), the market leader in disk-based data protection solutions, today announced that it entered into a comprehensive worldwide reseller agreement with Fujitsu Limited (Fujitsu), the leading provider of information and communication technology business solutions for the global marketplace. The combination of FalconStor software with Fujitsu storage will enhance Fujitsu’s comprehensive solutions to serve the evolving storage management needs of its customers.

Under the terms of the partnership with FalconStor, Fujitsu and its affiliates worldwide will resell FalconStor® Network Storage Server (NSS) storage virtualization and management solution in conjunction with its ETERNUS DX disk storage systems, using FalconStor NSS software bundled with Fujitsu PRIMERGY servers. The combined FalconStor/Fujitsu solutions will support flexible storage virtualization in multi-vendor storage environments. In addition, a new data migration service powered by FalconStor NSS will be offered by Fujitsu Professional Services and third-party professional services organizations that are partnered with Fujistu.

“This new agreement with FalconStor provides Fujitsu with an important technology that will help our customers in every part of the world,” said Charles Lew, president of Fujitsu (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. “It complements the capabilities of ETERNUS DX disk storage systems and greatly simplifies the data migration process for those customers moving to Fujitsu’s state-of-the-art storage arrays.”

Fujitsu will sell FalconStor NSS bundled as gateway appliances with Fujitsu PRIMERGY servers. Fujitsu has certified FalconStor NSS for use with all Fujitsu storage, including Fujitsu ETERNUS DX disk storage systems, as well as third-party storage arrays, enabling Fujitsu customers to integrate new and legacy storage systems into a single virtual SAN with built-in business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities.
