THE IPROPERTY GROUPS CONNECTS ASIA TO THE WORLD

3rd March 2012, Kuala Lumpur: iProperty Group Limited (ASX:IPP), the owner and operator of market leading property portals in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Singapore, which attracts over 3 million unique visitors browsing over 50 million pages on a monthly basis, has launched their new international property channel.

The newly launched channel, which is featured on the group’s four core sites (iproperty.com.my, GoHome.com.hk, Rumah123.com and iproperty.com.sg), offers local property buyers and investors a platform to search for international properties from over 41 countries, including Australia, New Zealand, United States (US) and the United Kingdom (UK).

The channel will not only serve the needs of these property buyers but will also provide property developers and agents, who have recognised this growing trend, outside of the Group’s core markets easy access to investors in Asia.

“With our unrivalled reach to Asia’s largest online property audience, the new channel will set the benchmark for the way property developers and agents reach their potential investors. It will also offer them a platform to engage with Asian investors in the most cost effective and highly efficient manner,” said iProperty Group’s CEO, Shaun Di Gregorio

Elaborating further, he said that Asians on the whole are keen on investing in overseas property and this was evidenced by the recent survey the iProperty Group released recently. The findings revealed that the interest for overseas properties remained high, with many citing migration, favourable currency rates and economic slowdown as reasons for their interest.

“The trend for Asians looking at investing in the overseas property market is continuously growing. With some countries changing their restrictions on foreign investments, Asians are constantly looking for the best developments to invest in and this new channel will help make that search easier and faster.” said Di Gregorio

The new channel, equipped with in-depth explanations along with quality visuals and floor plans has made what was once overwhelming task now an easy to navigate search experience which in turn will help property buyers and investors make an informed decision.

He concluded by saying that the group is committed to being long term partners with the real estate industry in successfully growing their businesses. The iProperty Group will also be increasing their focus on providing integrated digital marketing solutions to the ever bourgeoning property developer market across the region.
