FRIDAY, APRIL 13, 2012, KUALA LUMPUR – Ultra-thin notebooks, tablets, digital cameras and personal audio devices are the rage among consumers today. Shoppers can find the latest version for these devices at PC Fair 2012 (I), which starts today, April 13, until April 15 at three venues. More than 180,000 consumers are expected to throng the venues this weekend, shopping for the latest generation as well as to extend their purchasing power.
The three venues are Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Persada Johor International Convention Centre in Johor Bahru and Village Mall in Sungai Petani. PC Fair is now in its 18th year. “Despite the growth in number of venues and visitors, the Fair remains true to its cause of providing easy access, easy convenience to consumer technology and helping to narrow the digital divide. The Fair continues to be a powerful enabler, helping match end-users with specific digital computing tools at their affordability level.”
A major feature this year is that shoppers can participate in PC Fair 2012 Lucky Draw, which offers an all-expense paid trip for two to visit Seven Wonders of the World as the grand prize. Other lucky draw prizes include Apple iPad 2 or Samsung Galaxy Tabs, Asus netbook, Canon digital cameras, Tom Tom GPS devices, digital photo frame and more. “We also have redemption giveaways where every purchase of RM300 in a single receipt is rewarded with a free gift.”
