LG OPTIMUS L7 TO BE GIVEN AWAY TO SUPER JUNIOR FANS FOR SUJU VIRTUAL CONCERT CONTEST ON FACEBOOK

KUALA LUMPUR, May. 22, 2012 – LG Electronics (LG) and one of Korea’s most famous boy “idol” groups, Super Junior, will invite fans in Asia to the LG Optimus Super Concert to celebrate the launch of LG’s new Optimus L-Series in Asia. The virtual concerts already kick-off in Indonesia before moving on to Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and the Philippines. The contest is now live on LG Malaysia Facebook page.

The LG Optimus Super Concert will be held in a virtual space so every fan can enjoy a VIP guest-like experience. Fans can participate in the event via local LG Mobile Facebook pages in the participating countries. During the six-week event, 50 weekly lucky winners will win a special ‘Mr. Simple’ music video CD co-produced by LG and Super Junior. The CD also contains behind-the-scenes footage on the making of the video.

In addition, LG is also offering Super Junior fans a chance to win the Optimus L7. There are 10 units to be given away to the lucky winners with the most votes on Facebook at the end of the contest period. LG Optimus L7 is the first product from LG to run on the Ice Cream Sandwich Android OS. With the smarter and faster Ice Cream Sandwich OS, users can enjoy more instinctive user interface and advanced multi-tasking experience.
The Optimus L-Series of Smartphones includes the Optimus L7, L5, and L3, with the Optimus L7 and L3 to be rolled-out next month. L-Style’s design philosophy is comprised of five aesthetic elements: Modern Square Style for a comfortable grip, Floating Mass Technology for a slimmer look, Seamless Layout for a more intuitive arrangement of keys, Harmonized Design Contrast utilizing metallic accents and Sensuous Slim Shape that naturally draws one’s attention.

LG Optimus L3 and Optimus L7 will be available in all LG retail outlets in Malaysia on early June onwards at the recommended retail price of RM499 and RM999 respectively.
