KUALA LUMPUR, 30 August 2012 - LG Electronics Malaysia recently announced the prize winners of its Gawai contest in Sabah and Sarawak and gave away RM9,000 worth of travel vouchers. The prizes were presented by the store managers of LG’s participating outlet stores in Sabah and Sarawak.
The grand prize winner walked away with a travel voucher worth RM4,500, while the first prize and second prize winners received travel vouchers worth RM3,000 and RM1,500 respectively. The travel vouchers can be redeemed against any travel packages from Sedunia Travel Services.
“A contest like this is a great way to reward our loyal customers and this Harvest and Gawai promotion is LG’s way of celebrating two festivals that are very important to consumers in Sabah and Sarawak,” said HK Kwon, Managing Director, LG Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd.
“I’m excited that I won the grand prize and it was totally unexpected. It’s great that LG organises promotions and contests that are tailored specifically for consumers in Sabah and Sarawak,” enthused grand prize winner Sim Zhuo Qi.
The other two winners are Vencislaus Binjinol who won first prize and Tiong Yong Pin who took second prize.
The LG Gawai contest was open to all consumers in Sabah and Sarawak with purchase of any LG products worth RM600 and above. Participants were asked to answer a simple question and complete a slogan to win prizes.
