Microsoft Malaysia Fetes Partners Achievements

Home-grown Malaysian player Fusionex recognized with Country Partner of the Year award as well as global Business Intelligence Partner 2012 awards

KUALA LUMPUR, 18 October 2012 – Microsoft Malaysia (“Microsoft”) recently feted 80 of its top partners, recognizing their achievements in helping the company with its 20-year journey of contributing to the country’s transformation across education, businesses and lives.

“As we celebrate our 20th anniversary in the country, we are also ‘renewing our vows’ to help transform Malaysia together in the areas of education, businesses and lives. We achieve all this through a very robust partner ecosystem. In fact, I am proud to note that we have the largest local partner ecosystem with over 5,000 partners nationwide; all working hard to create value-driven ‘Made in Malaysia’ IP solutions. Our partners are an integral part to our success and we are proud to honor them,” said Ananth Lazarus, Managing Director of Microsoft Malaysia during the celebration.

The partner achievement awards were given to Solution Providers, System Integrators, Distributors and Large Retailers. This year, the honor roll included: Agtiv Consulting; CHASSasia (Malaysia); Fedelis; Fusionex; iDimension Systems; Ingram Micro Malaysia; Iverson Associates; Jardine OneSolution; ReDynamics Asia Systems Management; SNS Network (M); SoftwareONE Experts; and Thunder Match Technology.

There were 14 award categories: Core Infrastructure Solutions; Business Productivity Solutions; Application Platform Solutions; Office 365, Learning Solutions; Managed Retailer (Central Region); Managed Retailer (Outstation); Distributor – Consumer Channels Group; Value Added Reseller (VAR); Large Account Reseller (LAR); Distributor – Commercial; and Dynamics President Award. This year, local hero Fusionex was recognized with the Microsoft Global Business Intelligence Partner 2012, marking them as the top Microsoft partner worldwide when it comes to business intelligence solutions, as well as the exclusive Country Partner of the Year award. Fusionex, is a home-grown multi-award winning IT group that specializes in software products and solutions delivery, coupled with management and consulting services that has since grown to maintain a presence in Asia, Europe as well as the United States.
