VOTE FOR THE "JUAN"! VOTING BEGINS IN THE “SEARCH FOR THE CEBU PACIFIC JUAN BLOGGER”

Winning blogger will get to win more travel allowances with Visa Scavenger Hunt Challenge!

Kuala Lumpur 4 March, 2013 – Voting is now open in the "Search for the Juan Blogger" contest, an online contest for bloggers in Malaysia and Singapore organised by Cebu Pacific Air (PSE:CEB), the Philippines' largest national flag carrier.

Members of the public can now vote for their favourite safety demo dance videos at the official Facebook page: www.facebook.com/cebupacificairasean. The top 10 videos with the most votes will qualify to be in the running to be crowned as the first ever CEB Juan Blogger! The winning blogger will be awarded with flights for two to four destinations in the Philippines, two nights hotel stays in each destination from Agoda.com, and up to US$2,400 in travel allowance from Visa.

"We've received very creative entries that truly embody the fun and creativity that is the signature of Cebu Pacific. With the submission deadline still two weeks away, we expect to see even more innovative entries. We think the public will enjoy watching the dances and picking their favourite blogger!” said Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific Vice President for Marketing and Distribution.

The winner will be selected by CEB representatives and will have the opportunity to travel to key cities in the Philippines including Manila and Cebu, or any of the 28 other domestic destinations such as Iloilo, Clark, Boracay or Davao. The nine runners up will each win a pair of tickets from Kuala Lumpur to Cebu or from Singapore to Iloilo.

“Juan,” in the Filipino language, refers to the everyman, a key market for CEB given its trademark low fares.

Visa Scavenger Hunt Challenge

Prize sponsor Visa has also decided to enhance the cash winnings of the "CEB Juan Blogger” by introducing the Visa Scavenger Hunt Challenge to the contest. By uncovering hidden gems and completing specific challenges in each destination, the "CEB Juan Blogger" stands to win up to US$400 additional travel allowance during his or her travels.

The Juan blogger and his or her travel companion will receive a "survival guide" for each city, and a clue to discover and purchase a unique item in the region.

Documenting their hunt for the local treasures through social media channels, they will share their discoveries with all of their readers and followers back home as they race to solve the clues in time and win more travel allowances from Visa.

Bloggers from Malaysia and Singapore can still submit entries for the chance to become the ‘Juan’ Blogger and rally votes. The submission period ends at 11:59pm (Malaysia local time) on 15 March 2013, while voting continues until the same time on 24 March 2013.

奖品赞助商Visa也决定为比赛引入Visa寻宝挑战赛（Visa Scavenger Hunt Challenge），来增加“CEB Juan Blogger”的奖金。通过揭露所隐藏的宝石以及在完成在每个目的地的特定挑战，“CEB Juan Blogger”将有机会赢取在他的旅程中高达400美元的额外旅游津贴。

Juan部落客以及他的旅伴将会在每个城市获得一个“求生指南”（survival guide），以及用来寻找和购买在该地区一样独特物品的一个线索。

他们通过社交媒体管道记录寻找当地宝物的过程，将在回家后和他们的读者和追随者分享他们的发现，因为他们竞相来及时解答的线索，以从Visa赢得更多的旅游津贴。
