Schneider Electric Named a leader in IDC MarketScape: Worldwide DCIM 2013 Vendor Analysis

Kuala Lumpur, 5th August 2013 – Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, has been named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) 2013 Vendor Analysis for the second consecutive year. The report, which details the current status and definition of the DCIM market as well as a comparison of a wide range of DCIM vendors, identified Schneider Electric as an IDC MarketScape Leader worldwide for its StruxureWare™ for Data Centers suite.

The IDC MarketScape details the continual effort within the DCIM market to identify an appropriate definition of DCIM, as the market evolves and several vendors maintain strong growth and an ongoing effort to define their brand offering through full-scale solutions.  Schneider Electric has again been identified by IDC in the MarketScape as one of the vendors most likely to be a major player in the DCIM market over the next several years.
