Epicor Wins International Business Award

July 4, 2007 — Epicor Software Corporation (NASDAQ: EPIC), a leading provider of enterprise business software solutions for the midmarket and divisions of Global 1000 companies, today announced that George Klaus, chairman and chief executive officer of Epicor, has won an International Stevie Award for Best Chairman in The 2007 International Business Awards (IBAs).

Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs selected International Stevie winners from among the Finalists, which were determined by volunteer judges around the world during two months of preliminary judging. Klaus was evaluated on his achievements and performance over the last year. The Stevies’ judging panel considered the company’s 2006 performance, based on metrics including revenue and stock prices, as well as product mix.

“It is an honor to be recognized from among all of the exceptionally qualified candidates for this prestigious international business award,” said George Klaus. “Our success is a credit to the diligence and dedication of our more than 2,200 employees worldwide. 2006 was a great year for Epicor. In the fourth quarter, we were extremely pleased to achieve our first ever $100 million revenue quarter – with record sales in every key area of revenue contribution. Our success continued in the first quarter of 2007 with a second consecutive over $100 million revenue quarter– testament to the increased business agility and value our world-class solutions can deliver to companies as they transform themselves into successful global enterprises.”

Developing a deep understanding of the unique requirements of the customers and markets it serves has been a key to Epicor’s continued growth and success. For over ten years, Klaus has maintained his focus on placing customers first, and has guided Epicor to deliver affordable, proven solutions leveraging the most innovative technologies.

This year, recipients of 98 International Stevie Award trophies were selected from more than 1,000 nominations received from companies and individuals in more than 30 countries. “Entries to the IBAs grew 40% this year and that illustrates the increasing importance of The International Business Awards worldwide,” said Michael Gallagher, president of The Stevie Awards, presenters of the IBAs. “We congratulate all of the Finalists and International Stevie Awards winners, and we look forward to honoring them for their achievements at our gala awards dinner in Munich on September 10.”

The International Business Awards are the only global, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in business. Nicknamed the Stevie for the Greek word “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala dinner on Monday, September 10 in the Munich Marriott Hotel in Munich, Germany. Primary sponsor for the event will be the German State of Bavaria.

In addition to its win of the Best Chairman award, Epicor was honored as a finalist in the Best Multinational Company category for the third straight year. A complete list of International Stevie winners and other details are available at www.stevieawards.com/iba.
