hp對2008年財政預算案的回應

Budget 2008 Comments TF Chong, Managing Director, Hewlett-Packard (M) Sdn Bhd

hp welcomes the government’s continued support for the IT industry, especially in the establishment of a Knowledge Workers Development Institute to ensure that there is an adequate supply of high-skilled workers to meet the demands of the ICT industry.

Indeed, HP’s soon to be set up Global Application Development and IT Support Centre in Cyberjaya will benefit immensely from this government initiative, as this global centre requires a significant number of highly skilled IT professionals over the next few years.

The Global Application Development and IT Support Centre in Cyberjaya is one of HP’s five global hubs, and this centre will support HP’s efforts in the areas of enterprise data warehousing, application development and support, as well as other important initiatives.
HP is confident that the Knowledge Workers Development Institute will contribute significantly towards improving many of the local IT organisations’ overall productivity, quality, speed and flexibility as they gear towards competing in a global marketplace.
