Celcom與交警歡慶齋戒月

Celcom and Traffic Police KL celebrates this Ramadhan
SOMETHING FOR THE ROAD - Encik Mohamed Adlan Ahmad Tajudin, Chief Financial Officer of Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad and ACP. Tuan A Wahab Bin Raman, Ketua Trafik Kuala Lumpur, handing out “Buka Puasa” food packs to the KL traffic police who are on duty during the Ramadhan month, as a show of appreciation for keeping the traffic flowing during the peak break-fast hours.

KUALA LUMPUR, October 8, 2007 – As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme during the month of Ramadhan, Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad once again joined forces with Polis Trafik KL for a special ‘buka puasa’ feast on Monday, 8 October 2007. This is the third year in a row Celcom has participated in this event with Polis Trafik KL.

Prior to the special ‘buka puasa’ feast, the Celcom delegate together with members of Polis Trafik KL, paid a visit to the homes of three former traffic polices who are no longer able to serve because they have fallen ill or were injured while on duty. Celcom staff also presented them with ‘Hari Raya’ hampers and donations. Later in the afternoon, Celcom also distributed ‘buka puasa’ food packs at Menara Celcom to the traffic police on duty.

During the ‘buka puasa’ feast, which was held at Balai Polis Trafik KL, Celcom distributed ‘duit raya’ to orphans and widows of traffic police. Guests were also entertained by nasyid group, Nirwana.
