PATIMAS COMPUTER SOFTWARE BECOMES PRIMARY SALES INTERFACE IN MALAYSIA FOR CA’s ENTERPRISE IT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

Malaysia, November 19, 2007 – CA (NYSE: CA) today announced that Patimas Computer Software Sdn Bhd, a leading Information & Communications Technologies (ICT) solutions and service provider, will become the primary sales interface in Malaysia for CA’s enterprise IT management software.

The move formalizes and strengthens an already fruitful relationship that has existed between CA and Patimas Computer Software for the last four years, while the concept behind the new sales model is part of a carefully-designed strategy that has been implemented in parts of CA’s Asia Pacific (AP) region since 2004.

Experience in other AP geographies has shown CA that local industry expert partners possess a wealth of knowledge, experience and cultural understanding that no outside organization could match. With this in mind, the new strategy offers a robust customer sales arrangement, while providing CA with the highest-qualified representation in Malaysia.

Listed on the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia stock exchange as Patimas Computers Berhad (KLSE 7042), the company is principally engaged in providing IT Infrastructure Technology Services, Provision of ICT services, IT Software Development and Services, System Integration, IT Outsourcing and Provisioning of IT Products.

CA’s customers in Malaysia will continue to enjoy access to the company’s considerable support capabilities via their IT management infrastructures, while the CA Asia South leadership will maintain a close daily working relationship with Patimas Computer Technology.

This channel partnership model is the latest regional development in transforming CA’s Enterprise IT Management (EITM) vision into reality to unify and simplify IT management for customers. CA, Patimas Computer Software and its value business partner eco-system will work together to produce innovative solutions to govern, manage and secure the IT environments that support enterprise business objectives.

CA’s Senior Vice President and General Manager, Asia Pacific & Japan, Gavin Selkirk, said: “As a major player on Malaysia’s technology scene, Patimas represents CA’s ideal sales partner in Malaysia and will play a significant role in our mission to revolutionize IT management for enterprises in this important market.”

CA recently reported FY08 Q2 results that marked the company’s fourth consecutive quarter of sound financial performance. Total revenue for the second quarter showed an increase of 8 percent, or 5 percent in constant currency, compared with the corresponding period last year.
