Verizon Business Adds Fortinet Platform to its Unified Threat Management Offerings

MALAYSIA, 30 May 2008 – Fortinet – the pioneer and leading provider of unified threat management (UTM) solutions – today announced that Verizon Business has added Fortinet’s FortiGate security appliances to its unified threat management offerings. Available immediately in the United States, as well as in many countries in Europe and Asia-Pacific, Verizon Business will offer security monitoring and management services of this leading all-in-one device.

Fortinet’s FortiGate multi-threat security systems offers broad security services to mid-sized and large enterprise customers looking to secure their networks through an integrated and outsourced approach. It enables customers to consolidate critical network security functionalities into a single, high-performance appliance that provides firewall, antivirus, anti-spam, virtual private network (VPN), Web content filtering and intrusion prevention (IPS) protection.
