Kuala Lumpur, 3 June 2008 – Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad, a brand synonymous with unbeatable mobile products and services, has announced its first winner for the Celcom 100Days 100Cars campaign.

Pn Suzana binti Padupai, 36, from Pontian, Johor was announced as the campaign’s first winner LIVE on television during TV3’s ‘Scoreboard’ programme which aired at 12.30 am this morning.
Commenting on her win, Pn Suzana, 36, excitedly said, “This win was truly unexpected and I am very happy that I was selected as the winner. I have been a loyal Celcom customer from the very beginning and have never used any other network. Thank you so much Celcom, for giving me a brand new Toyota Camry!”
Pn Suzana is a mother of four children and manages her own company. She currently owns a Honda City and Perodua MyVi and with the addition of her new Toyota Camry, she hopes to make it her family car.
Celcom 100Days 100Cars is an SMS promotion that offers both Celcom postpaid and prepaid customers an opportunity to be rewarded with a brand new Toyota Camry 2.0E 1AZ-FE everyday and an additional car on weekends, in which only the top participants will be eligible. This promotional campaign concept is the first of its kind in Asia, but has experienced great success in other countries such as Spain and Morocco.

To be eligible for the daily car, customers must answer at least one question correctly on that particular day from their mobile phone for an opportunity to drive home a brand new Toyota Camry 2.0E 1AZ-FE.
In order to participate, customers just need to type CARS and send it to 22222. Customers can earn more points by correctly answering as many questions as possible. The customer with the highest points for the week will receive the bonus car on the Sunday for that week.
The daily car recipient will be notified via a congratulatory SMS and Celcom will contact the winner via telephone before 12.00 pm on the very next day. They will also be given a congratulatory card from Celcom and have their names announced on the 100days 100cars official website at http://www.100days100cars.com. In addition, Celcom will also be announcing the daily winners during the ‘Sorak Borak’ programme on TV3 beginning 8 June until 29 June 2008 at 12.00 am.
