IRVINE, Calif., June 2, 2008 — Epicor Software Corporation (NASDAQ: EPIC), a leading provider of enterprise business software solutions for the midmarket and divisions of Global 1000 companies, today announced its finalist status in three categories of the Sixth Annual American Business Awards: Best Customer Service Organization/Department; Best Over All Company; and Best Chairman. The American Business Awards is the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business.

“We are thrilled to be recognized as a finalist in multiple categories of this prestigious awards program,” said Thomas Kelly, president and CEO of Epicor. “It is an honor to have Epicor’s achievements recognized by the business community, which is largely made up of the customers we serve. Additionally, it is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our more than 3,000 employees worldwide to deliver innovative, world class software, services and support that ultimately empower businesses throughout the world to achieve greater success.”

Hailed as “the business world’s version of the Oscars” (New York Post, April 27, 2005), the American Business Awards recognize companies and business people by honoring their efforts, accomplishments and the positive contributions they make to business and society. This year more than 2,600 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories.

“Entries grew more than 30% this year, so being named a Finalist is more of an accomplishment than ever before,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards. “It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of national recognition. We congratulate all of the Finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition.”

The American Business Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Thursday, June 12 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 600 executives from across the U.S.A. are expected to attend. The ceremonies will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network and hosted by Liz Claman of FOX Business Network.
