Nokia N96 – The icon of convergence has arrived

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Nokia yesterday announced the availability of the much anticipated Nokia N96, its flagship multimedia computer in the iconic Nseries range. Cutting-edge technology meets intelligent design to fuse advanced entertainment options including Live TV, 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, turn-by-turn voice navigation, 16GB of internal memory, superior sound and music, N-Gage gaming and 2.8” display together in one device.

The Nokia N96 will be available in Malaysia in the 2nd week of September with a recommended retail price of RM 3,338. “The Nokia N96 is mobile entertainment at its best. It blends phone and multimedia options seamlessly with the unique Nseries dual slider that makes discovering and sharing experiences is easy. With 16GB of internal storage and an optional microSD card – currently available up to 8 GB - the total memory of the Nokia N96 can be increased to a total of up to 24GB.

The Nokia N96 supports streaming video straight from the web or live broadcast mobile TV as it happens (DVB-H), delivering advanced television viewing across a number of digital channels. With its stunning 2.8” display, the Nokia N96 will have you totally glued to its screen.

Feel part of the action as it erupts through the large display and built-in 3D stereo speakers. The Nokia N96 supports all common video formats including MPEG-4, Windows Media Video and Flash Video.

Images can be geotagged instantly to record the location and directly uploaded to online communities such as Share on Ovi, YouTube and Flickr.

Nokia N85 – The definitive entertainment package

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Nokia yesterday unveiled the Nokia N85, the latest Nseries multimedia computer made to set new standards for mobile entertainment, gaming and sharing. Along with an eye-catching 2.6” OLED screen and smooth, sleek finish, the Nokia N85 redefines the mobile experience. It boasts N-Gage gaming, music with in-built FM transmitter, 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and geotagging capabilities, three month integrated license for turn-by-turn voice navigation and high-speed connectivity, all in one device.

The Nokia N85 is expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2008.

It offers a full range of multimedia experiences including integrated navigation, music with FM transmitter, high-speed connectivity, superior web browsing, 10 pre-loaded N-Gage games and an advanced 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics. The Nokia N79 is expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2008.
