MAXIS LAUNCHES THE FIRST MAXIS BROADBAND-READY

Kuala Lumpur, 29 October 2008 – Maxis Communications Berhad (“Maxis”) launched the first Maxis Broadband-ready Dell Inspiron™ Mini 9 at the “Experiencing Convergence: MyBroadband Exhibition and Conference 2008” at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre yesterday.

The Dell Inspiron™ Mini 9 comes with a reliable solid state drive (SSD) memory storage, bright 8.9-inch glossy LED display (1024x600), sealed keyboard, built-in Webcam and built-in Bluetooth for easy wireless connections to Bluetooth-enabled accessories like a pair of stereo headphones, a mouse and a printer. The wireless capacity of the Dell Inspiron™ Mini 9 is powered by an Ericsson HSPA modem.
