Well-known IT magazine PC World has announced the world's top ten ultra-mobile Internet devices (Netbooks) and the Eee PC™ 1000HE has secured the top spot with its winning combination of “marathon” battery life, smart design and fantastic value. For topping the chart, the Eee PC™ 1000HE has also been awarded PC World’s “Best Buy!” status. PC World Magazine on the Eee PC™ 1000HE: “A smart netbook that not only gets the design right -- and it's priced to move.”

In his full review of the Eee PC™ 1000HE, Darren Gladstone of PC World wrote: “[The Eee PC™ 1000HE is a] smart netbook that not only gets the design right -- and it's priced to move.” Mr. Gladstone noted that, “With the latest incarnation of the Eee PC 1000, the "HE" might as well stand for "Holy Enhancement!”… [as it] improves upon just about everything from the keyboard to the CPU”.
