Sing your way to U2 360° Concert

DiGi customers to win the Ultimate U2 Experience

SHAH ALAM, 15 June 2009: DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (“DiGi”) is taking music appreciation to the next level for its customers with this latest flyaway contest. In collaboration with Universal Music, DiGi customers stand a chance to enjoy a 360° music experience when they win an all expenses paid trip to catch U2’s sold-out concert in Wembley Stadium, London on 14 August 2009.

Beyond just the concert, DiGi is also offering the two lucky winners and their partners a Dublin tour, which will take in where the band members grew up, attended schools, played their first gig and many more highlights. The winners will then fly to London to watch U2 perform on a unique 360° stage design, giving each member of the audience a clear unobstructed view.

Nikki Lee, DiGi’s Head of Youth Segment explained: “This is a rare opportunity for our customers to see the iconic rock group live and take a memorable tour of where it all started for them. This flyaway contest is our way to engage our customers by making their music experience personal and memorable for them.”

The U2 360° Flyaway Contest is open to all DiGi customers from 15 June to 10 July 2009. To participate, customers only need to download any U2 content of their latest album, No Line On The Horizon from the DiGi Music portal. Every 10th downloader of U2 content will be in the running to be called by Fly FM, beginning 22 June, anytime between 4pm-12am, from Mondays to Fridays.

The contestants will have to sing the word “Magnificent” for as long as they can in a single breath. “Magnificent” is U2’s latest single from their album, No Line On The Horizon. The top two contestants who can do so for the longest time will win the DiGi flyaway contest. The other contestants will receive exclusive U2 merchandise.

DiGi customers can opt to purchase the band’s latest album at RM9.90, full tracks at RM5.00 each or truetones at RM4.00 each from DiGi Music via WAP (SMS ‘GET U2’ to 2000) or web (www.digimusicu2.com.my) in order to participate in the contest.
