IDC Expects the APEJ Enterprise Mobility Market to Grow 29% and Reach US$6.9 Billion in 2013

Kuala Lumpur, March 18, 2013 – Mobility is at the heart of transformation for many organizations as they strive to change the way they operate and how the business is done. It has risen up to top of the agenda for many CIOs as now an intrinsic part of their ICT roadmap. Mobility is both an exciting opportunity and a serious challenge for many CIOs and some have found their mobility journey extremely daunting. However, CIOs continue to invest heavily in mobility technologies to achieve some of their core business goals. IDC expects the APeJ enterprise mobility market to reach US$6.9B in 2013, an annual growth rate of 29%.

"The key to a successful enterprise mobility strategy is for organization to know exactly what they hope to achieve and have clear objectives right from the start," says Adrian Dominic Ho, Principal, Telecom Practice, Mobility Lead, IDC Asia/Pacific. "Organizations that jump on the mobility bandwagon with no clear objectives are usually disappointed and end in failure, CIOs should also look to partner with leaders that have a holistic view on mobility as point solutions no longer quite cut it."

At the Kuala Lumpur leg of IDC's Asia/Pacific Enterprise Mobility Conference, Charles Anderson, Associate Vice President, Head of Telecom Practice, Mobility Lead, IDC Asia/Pacific will share IDC's perspective on how organizations should leverage mobility to achieve their goals, what are the best practices in the marketplace and how organizations should build and approach their mobility strategy.

To learn more about the future of Enterprise Mobility, join Charles at IDC’s Asia/Pacific Enterprise Mobility Conference 2013 in Kuala Lumpur on March 21, 2013 (Thursday).
