FINAL FANTASY X & FINAL FANTASY X-2 REMASTERED

On PlayStation®3 & PlayStation®Vita Release Chinese & English version in 2013 globally!


March 29th, 2013 – Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (SCEH) today announced that the HD remastered editions of FINAL FANTASY® X/ X-2 Chinese & English version will be releasing exclusively for PlayStation in 2013.

“FINAL FANTASY X”, which was launched in 2010 on PlayStation®2 platform, is the first one of the series to use voice over for the characters. Its touching story and refined aesthetic images were highly praised. The cumulative worldwide shipments were over 8.5 millions. “FINAL FANTASY X-2”, the first sequel to FF series, which was launched in 2003, also got global sales of more than 5.4 millions.

Until 2013, after launched more than 10 years, these two popular titles of FF series have been remade as HD remastered edition on PlayStation®3/PlayStation®Vita finally. The localization of this title is cooperated by SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD. and SCE Asia. Having Japanese voice with subtitle and menu in Traditional Chinese/English, the “FINAL FANTASY” Fans in the Chinese & English-speaking regions in Asia can have a more thorough experience in this unique world view and dramatic piece of work.

Except presenting the major characters in wonderful HD resolution, all the monsters and country maps will also become more clearly in HD as well to display a spectacular, brilliant image reproduction in the world of “FINAL FANTASY X”.

SCEAsia and SCEH will continue to further expand the localized titles on PS3 & PS Vita platform to provide unusual entertainment to gamers and improve a bigger and stronger scale on PlayStation® platform.
