SHAH ALAM, 12 July 2013 – DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (“DiGi”) is helping to make Ramadhan and Syawal more meaningful and joyful this year with the launch of the new Ramadhan Kareem & Eid Mubarrak portal in conjunction with the festive celebrations. Open to all DiGi customers, the portal is specifically catered for the festive season and is available until the last day of Syawal (7 September 2013).

The portal acts as a one-stop centre for all new and existing services related to the festive season. Customers can browse through the portal to choose whichever seasonal services they wish to subscribe to from as low as RM0.50.

To enhance customers’ experience during this special time of the year, the portal is available in Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia. For customers’ convenience, there will be no data charges for accessing the portal and video content links during the promotion period.

Apart from the usual services like MMS Hari Raya greetings and festive wallpapers, and Raya CallerTunes packages, the portal also boasts new services like SMS alerts for buka puasa and iftar times; SMS information for the top Pasar Ramadhan locations; exclusive videos updates on local celebrity news, their fashion styles and style tips. Customers can also subscribe to a new traffic alert service that provides traffic updates in the Klang Valley during the two weeks leading up to, and after, Hari Raya, among others.
To subscribe, customers only need to SMS RAYA to 2016 to receive the link to the portal, where they can view all the services offered. Alternatively, they can log on directly to http://digi.my/RamadhanEid or subscribe directly to each individual service by texting the respective service code to 2000.
