Local Youths Encouraged to Turn Dreams into Reality through BlackBerry’s ‘Empowering Ambitions’ Campaign

Finding and pursuing a dream job may seem like an enormous task – but a one-minute video competition could change the fate of several lucky Malaysians as BlackBerry embarks on a mission to transform dreams into a living reality for aspiring individuals across the country.

BlackBerry Malaysia is organising a competition to offer Malaysian youth an opportunity to showcase their dream jobs and for those who yearn to share their story. Themed ‘Empowering Ambitions’, Malaysian can upload a one-minute video to tell the world about their dream job and what they imagine a dream career to be like. Participants stand a chance to win amazing prizes such as a BlackBerry Q5 smartphone. Additionally, the winner will also become the face of the BlackBerry Q5.

BlackBerry Malaysia ‘Empowering Ambitions’ website, http://empoweringambitions.com.my, will also be host to a series of weekly webisodes that follows the story of five young Malaysians who are already living their dreams, namely – Chef Sufiz (Chef), Nurita Harith (Fashion Designer), Haziq Zikri Ella (Football Athlete), Hanie Hidayah (Blogger) and Raeesa Sya (Web Content Developer).

A campus tour will also be organised for students to record their video submission for the BlackBerry Malaysia ‘Empowering Ambitions’ campaign. Details as below:

·         9-10 October 2013: Universiti Putra Malaysia
