Brother supports for typhoon “Haiyan” Relief Efforts in the Philippines

Petaling Jaya, 12 November 2013 –Brother Industries, Ltd., a parent company of one of the leading global manufacturer of laser and inkjet printing devices, has announced the Brother Group will donate a total of approximately 100,000 USD to The Philippine Red Cross Society to help with efforts following the disaster caused by the typhoon “Haiyan” in the Philippines.

Toshikazu Koike, the president of Brother Industries, Ltd., said “We sincerely hope for swift recovery of the people and areas affected by the disaster, and will work together to continue providing necessary aids.”

The Brother Group established its sales company, Brother International Philippines Corporation in 2000, and manufacturing facility, Brother Industries (Philippines), Inc., in 2012.  Brother positions them as the sales and manufacturing key bases of the Brother Group.
