Cisco Appoints Albert Chai as Country Manager for Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – January 23, 2014 – Cisco has appointed Albert Chai as the managing director for Malaysia, reporting to Irving Tan, vice president for ASEAN at Cisco. Albert brings 18 years of experience in the technology industry across the Asia Pacific region.

“Albert’s expertise across a range of markets and technologies as well as his leadership skills and customer-centric approach in Malaysia validates my commitment to grow and develop local talent and provide opportunities for development within the Cisco ASEAN organization,” said Irving Tan, vice president for Cisco in ASEAN.

Albert joined Cisco in July 2009 and since then; he has led the regional remit for enterprise, public sector and service provider segments. Prior Cisco, he was the Vice President of Sales for South East Asia at Acision, a messaging and mobile internet solutions provider and before that, the Country Director of Logica, Indonesia.

Albert holds a First Class Honours Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from University College London (UCL), United Kingdom.
