AEON CARELINE, POWERED BY VADS RECEIVES ISO 9001:2008 CERTIFICATION

AEON’s customer service centre receives accreditation from SIRIM QAS International

Kuala Lumpur. 4 March 2014. AEON Careline, the customer service division of AEON CO. (M) BHD recently received the ISO 9001:2008 certification, which sets out the criteria for a quality management system, from SIRIM QAS International at a simple ceremony in Plaza VADS. The customer service centre is powered by VADS Berhad (VADS), Malaysia’s leading Integrated Managed Information & Communications Technology (ICT)/Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Service Provider.

Yukiyo Komatsu, Senior General Manager of GMS Store Operations, AEON CO. (M) BHD, received the certificate on behalf of the company from Ir. Khalidah Mustafa, Managing Director, SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd. Also present were Datin Mohana Mohariff, Vice President of BPO Services, VADS and Saravanan Belusami, General Manager of BPO Operations, VADS, as well as members of the management team of AEON CO. (M) BHD, SIRIM and VADS.

Commenting on the achievement, Yukiyo said, “We are delighted to have achieved the ISO 9001:2008 certification for our inbound customer services which is managed by VADS. The certification is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. These principles are core to our promise to our customers to ensure that they get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.”

“This certification couldn’t come at a better time as we have just rolled out our 30th anniversary celebration in Malaysia,” she added.

Also sharing her enthusiasm, Datin Mohana said, “We are proud to be part of the team which made this possible. Moving forward, we are committed to maintaining these standards for a better service and customer care quality.”

At the same event, Datin Mohana also presented certificates of appreciation to the team which had worked relentlessly for the past 12 months in achieving and making the ISO 9001:2008 certification a reality.
