KUALA LUMPUR, 10 March 2014 – A total of 140 attendees were present during the recent Creative Industry Dialogue 2014 the first in this year’s quarterly series organized by Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC).
The creative industry dialogue provides a platform for industry professionals to share their knowledge, ideas, and experiences.
The focus of the first Creative Industry Dialogue for this year was on Market Access 2014 – Plans and Funding, with highlights on topics such as Co-production Models, Beyond Mobile and Tablet, The Latest in Crowd-funding and presentation of beneficial case studies.
“Crowd funding is a disruptive platform to raise funds. It’s fantastic model for entrepreneurs to validate their ideas. It is also a great model for entrepreneurs to fail fast and cheap. If you have an idea and would like to see if it has legs, the crowd will tell you!” – says Sam Shafie of PitchIN during his session.
The invited speakers which consisted of experts in the field of crowdfunding and market access shared their views, market trends and updates, and opportunities available in the creative industry.
