Become a Bollywood film sensation overnight and act alongside the world’s biggest movie star Shah Rukh Khan

Kuala Lumpur, 15 April 2014 - Groupon has teamed up with the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan to bring its customers the exclusive opportunity to audition to feature in one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of the year ‘Happy New Year’ and be treated like a star on-set in Mumbai.

Available exclusively on Groupon, people can buy a ticket to audition (RM25) which gives them access to: a private online audition portal; Shah Rukh Khan’s purpose-filmed tutorial offering a crash course in Bollywood acting and dancing; an official movie poster autographed by Shah Rukh Khan; and a certificate of participation signed by Film Director Farah Khan.

Break a leg!”

After the first round of online voting, 500 shortlisted candidates will audition in Mumbai in front of the movie production team, after which the top ten performers will be chosen to perform in front of Film Director Farah Khan.

The lucky winner will get the complete ‘star-like’ treatment with a personal vanity van, personal assistant and make-up artist, in addition to being appointed a character in the movie and his/her name appearing in the movie credits.
