Buyer’s Conversation with Telefonica Global Solutions: Achieving Greater Cost and Operational Efficiencies with Virtual Network Operator, Nevigate

Direct Cost Savings, Simplified Partner Management and Quicker Processes cited as key benefits according to customer, Telefonica Global Solutions

Singapore, 14 May 2014 –Singapore-headquartered independent global virtual network operator (VNO) Nevigate Communications (Nevigate), and customer Telefonica Global Solutions (TGS) recently concluded a discussion with IDC on the role of virtual network operators (VNOs) in helping Service Providers (SPs) achieve better balance between network quality and reach priorities with lower price pressure.

In the resulting research entitled “IDC - Buyer Conversation: Global Coverage, One-Stop-Shop and On-Site Support are Key for Virtual Network Operators Success”, Doc #AP3053207V, Feb 2014”, Nevigate and Telefonic Global Solutions discussed how VNOs allow SP customers to access greater choices in network partners to build seamless, flexible and resilient global networks. At the same time, SPs enjoy Single Point Accountability through its VNO partner, ensuring ease of Partner and Billing Management, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) management and have a single point contact for post-sales support services.

“The key ROIs from using Nevigate include direct cost savings, single supplier on global service, lesser turn- around time and faster internal process for procurement, " said Eduardo Mayo Romo, Procurement Manager – APAC, Africa & Russia, Telecom Services, Telefonica Global Solutions.

“Virtualised, IP-based innovation is the foundation of the VNO business model. I believe VNOs will   revolutionise how global carriers build sustainable business partnerships so as to meet exponential capacity demands, improve operational and cost efficiency, enhance service levels and meet network reach expectations of their end-customers ,” said GK Tan, Managing Director, Nevigate.
