Gen-X Technology presents Iguana Mobile Malaysia, where users can view and download a wide variety of mobile content, including mini Adobe® Flash games, exciting Java™ games, and the latest content from popular artistes such as S.H.E., JJ Lin, Vincy and Twins. Gen-X will refresh its content bi-weekly, while making new true tones and mobile games available for download every week.

“The mobile device is one of the few items that people constantly have with them, so Nokia Catalogs is making it easier for them to get their latest entertainment fix directly on their handsets, without having to go to the internet to download music, images or ringtones,” said Shankar Meembat, Regional Director, Forum Nokia, Asia Pacific. “Thanks to the collaboration that we have with great content partners around the world, Nokia Catalogs is gaining popularity amongst consumers who want the latest entertainment downloads quickly. We’re sure that with Suria Records, SEGA Corporation and Gen-X Technology as our first three content providers in Malaysia, users will see this application as a welcome addition to their mobile devices.”

"Suria Records is proud to be associated with Nokia to penetrate the mobile market, which is the new and dynamic form of music distribution in the new digital era. Through this collaboration, users will see that it’s now so much easier to find and download legal digital content by using Nokia Catalogs,” said Edwin Tan, General Manager, Suria Records Sdn Bhd

"I strongly believe that Nokia Catalogs is a key innovation which provides users with easier mobile content download service, compared with download services that are currently available in other devices. We are excited by this development in distributing our mobile content through the world's most popular handset manufacturer," said Minoru Kabuta, Head of Mobile Group, SEGA.

Said Lim Boon Eam, Chief Executive Officer of Gen-X Technology: “By working together Nokia, we have found new ways to distribute fun and exciting content. This collaboration is in line with Gen-X’s vision of finding new ways to deliver quality content to consumers.”

Nokia Catalogs facilitates easy access to downloadable content through a collection of shopping mall “stores” run by branded content providers, leading content aggregators and mobile service providers. Content providers are able to build their own branded mobile shopping mall, with better positioning of content and the presence of the provider’s brand on the device, generating higher adoption. Consumers' experience of content shopping is greatly enhanced through Catalogs’ advanced on-device caching of content metadata which allows free browsing of the content stores in the mobile mall, as well as frequent content updates, integrated preview/prelisten and proficient content installation capabilities.

Other content providers offering exclusive music and entertainment content and services on Nokia Catalogs include Jamba, Warner Bros Digital Distribution, Sony Pictures, Electronic Arts and Handango. Today Nokia Catalogs can be found in the hands of over 20million consumers worldwide.
