TM OFFERS EXCLUSIVE CONTENT FROM THE BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE THROUGH ITS NEW VIDEO CONTENT PORTAL - HYPP.TV

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) recently signed a 3-year deal with Football Association Premier League (FAPL), giving them exclusive rights to screen Barclays Premier League online video content for Malaysian Internet users. The video content is offered through TM’s new Web TV portal Hypp.TV via its Sports Channel, which will be available from August 12, 2007.

Followers of Barclays Premier League can enjoy latest fixtures, match round-ups and highlights from every match of the 2007/2008 season by subscribing to Hypp.TV.

“Through Hypp.TV, we are providing local football fans an avenue to interact with other Malaysians via the various channels such as blogs and forums. This is part of our continuous efforts to generate more local content and encourage domestic Internet traffic,” said Pn. Zainab Hashim, Acting Chief Executive Officer, TM Net Sdn. Bhd. “We are also able to provide these online video content for Malaysian football fans who are constantly on the go and wish to view video content on-demand. Hypp.TV provides that capability, where the content can be viewed anywhere, anytime with unlimited replay of the best Barclays Premier League football moments.”

To enjoy the exclusive content, existing Streamyx customers can sign up for the Barclays Premier League video content at RM9.90 for a one-month subscription or RM24.90 for a three-month subscription. Non-Streamyx subscribers can also enjoy this service at RM14.90 for a one-month subscription or RM39.90 for a three-month subscription. Registration is now open while content will be available from August 12, 2007 onwards.
