ViewSonic Introduces an affordable 19’’ widescreen LCD Malaysia, 10 September 2007 – ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of visual display products, introduced an addition to its VA Series of 19’’ widescreen LCDs, i.e. VA1926w– a widescreen display brings panoramic viewing for multiple documents and HD video content to the desktop.

The most important is that VA1926w possess the latest innovative DCR (dynamic contrast ratio) technology to enhance contrast ratio up to 2000:1, which can intelligently control the backlight brightness to make the black blacker in a dark scene, and make the white whiter in the bright environment. Also, 19’’ widescreen LCDs are able to increase in viewing area on the widescreen allows users to navigate between multiple windows and applications in less time and with greater ease, expanding virtual desktop space without sacrificing physical desk real estate.

DCR technology is able to automatically detect the image signal and intelligently control the backlight brightness to make the black blacker in a dark scene, and make the white whiter in the bright environment.

DCR technology is able to automatically adjust gray level and enhance gray level performance range. When there is a need to display a dark image, DCR technology will underpower the backlight lamp, but will proportionately amplify the transmission through the LCD panel.
