Palm and Celcom Launch New Treo 500v Smartphone in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Nov. 6, 2007 -- Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq: PALM) and Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad today announced the new Palm® Treo™ 500v smartphone on the Celcom network in Malaysia. The new smartphone combines multiple forms of communication and multimedia capabilities with high-speed 3G/UMTS mobile Internet capabilities, allowing users to access popular websites, such as Facebook, Windows Mobile Live Spaces and eBay, whilst on the move.(1) The Treo 500v, with the new and exclusive Vodafone user interface running on Windows Mobile® 6 Standard edition delivers unparalleled usability and ease of navigation to customers who want to keep on top of their work and social lives while on the go.

Pricing and Availability
The Palm Treo 500v smartphone is now available for RM 1588 in selected Celcom, Blue Cube and major retail outlets in Malaysia.
