ProCurve Networking Delivers 8212zl Core Switch with Lifetime Warranty KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, 4 October 2007 – ProCurve Networking, a business unit of HP and a leading supplier of enterprise networking solutions, today announced the availability of a high-performance network core switch, the ProCurve Switch 8212zl. The core switch completes ProCurve’s core-to-edge network solution that unifies network technology, infrastructure, software, operation, management and support while reducing complexity and lowering costs.

The ProCurve Switch 8212zl is targeted at enterprise customers and comes with ProCurve’s lifetime warranty(1). The switch is based on HP-developed ProVision ASIC technology, a highly integrated architecture that delivers redundancy and resiliency.

ProCurve also announced the ProCurve Wireless Edge Services zl Module that adds centralized wireless local area network (WLAN) configuration, management and advanced wireless services to the 8212zl core switch and 5400zl edge switch family.
