TIME DOTCOM SPONSORS UPM EXCELLENCE AWARDS

KUALA LUMPUR, Wednesday 28 November 2007 – As part of its continuous effort in supporting local education especially in the area of information and communication technology (ICT), TIME dotCom has sponsored three Awards of Excellence for top final year students from the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

The awards were presented to the Best Graduate in Academic, Excellent Graduate in Project and Best Overall Graduate for the faculty’s Bachelor of Engineering (Computer and Communication Systems) programme for the 2006/2007 session.

This year, Liew Yeong Tat received the TIME dotCom Award of Excellence for Best Graduate in Academic while Chuah Boon Hooi was named Excellent Graduate in Project. Izman Haidi Mohd Ibrahim was presented the TIME dotCom Award of Excellence for Best Overall Graduate.
They each received RM800 in cash, a plaque and a certificate.

The awards were presented during the Faculty’s Annual Award Presentation Ceremony, which was held at its auditorium at the UPM main campus in Serdang on November 22, 2007.
