industry analyst firm rates netapp “strong positive” in marketscope report

Singapore and Malaysia — July 1, 2008 —NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) today announced that it received the highest rating possible in the “Gartner MarketScope for iSCSI SAN Integrated Solutions.”[1] In the recent report, NetApp® was rated as “strong positive” which is the highest possible category in the MarketScope. Gartner advises current customers of vendors with strong positive ratings to "continue planned investments." Gartner also advises potential customers to consider vendors with a strong positive rating as "a strong choice for strategic investments."

Gartner's evaluation criteria for the iSCSI included market responsiveness, overall viability, and an evaluation of the vendors' products and services, among other criteria.
