Company launches largest all-in-one portfolio in history for consumers
Malaysia – HP revealed its largest investment in the all-in-one desktop PC market to date, unveiling a new portfolio of products that offers consumers powerful and sleek PCs and award-winning customer service and support.
“Already the worldwide leader in Windows-based all-in-one PCs, HP is bolstering its market leadership with new strategic portfolio enhancements, including TouchSmarts with innovative designs at mainstream price points for consumers,” said Todd Bradley, executive vice president, Personal Systems Group, HP. ”The popularity of the all-in-one form factor continues to grow, and HP’s contribution to this market is significant.”
“HP knows people expect a lot from their technology – from the overall design to the user experience. That’s why HP continues to drive innovation for its all-in-one PCs, which combine a full featured PC and a high definition display into an elegant, modern design that compliments the user’s environment instead of trying to define it,” said Randall Martin, chief design strategist, Desktop PCs, Personal Systems Group, HP.
The TouchSmart advantage
The 20-inch diagonal HP TouchSmart320 and the 23-inch diagonal HP TouchSmart520 PC are designed for consumers who demand a premium multimedia and touch experience. These TouchSmarts feature a suite of built-for-touch applications and a free-standing full HD(1) display that tilts up to 30 degrees, complementing its environment instead of defining it. The floating form is minimal and elegant with enough space between the stand and display to hide the keyboard when not in use.
The newest version of HP’s exclusive TouchSmart 5.0 software provides the most intuitive, immersive touch experience to date. Some of the features include touch optimized applications from Twitter and Facebook, as well as HP’s exclusive RecipeBox, webcam and music applications(2).
Users can also conveniently access Windows Start menu, apps, desktop icons and applications within the same desktop environment. With a scrolling desktop that expands horizontally via the TouchSmart’s Magic Canvas, users can easily customize their user experience by dragging and dropping their favourite files and apps onto the TouchSmart’s carousel.
Additionally, users can experience content and programs from a notebook PC on the TouchSmart’s Magic Canvas with HP LinkUp Technology(2) for a more comfortable, entertaining and productive experience.
Music lovers will enjoy a premium listening experience with integrated Beats Audio technology on HP TouchSmart PCs.
Affordable, stylish home computing
The space-saving HP Omni series PCs provide an ideal combination of form, function and affordability. The two new models, Omni120 and Omni220, offer a minimalist, streamlined design with metallic pedestal that elegantly lifts the displays, and also minimizes clutter.
With an all-new easel design, the 20-inch diagonal Omni120 and 21.5-inch diagonal Omni220 PCs offer ample storage, built-in speakers and vivid HD(1) displays to pump up your entertainment ante. The new Omni PCs also feature HP LinkUp Technology(2), which lets users view and interact with content from a notebook PC on the Omni PC. Changes are saved directly to the notebook, so there are no file transfer hassles.
The Omni120 PC also integrates up to 750GB(3) of hard drive space and a choice of the latest AMD or Intel processors(4) and graphics.
The HP Omni220 PC offers a streamlined cantilever design. Select models offer Beats Audio and second-generation Intel quad core processors(4) and graphics for a PC that sounds and performs as good as it looks.
