A Combined Worth of RM276,663 in Prizes Given Away in Conjunction with the Contest

Kuala Lumpur, 29 February 2012 Ð Acer Malaysia today held a simple yet joyful prize giving ceremony to six lucky winners of the ÒChip-It-UpÓ With Acer and Windows 7 contest which was held in conjunction with the premiere of ÒAlvin and the Chipmunks 3 Ð ChipwreckedÓ.

The six lucky winners happily drove home a spanking brand new Perodua Myvi each with a combined worth of RM276,663, just for being a loyal Acer customer. With any purchase of a qualifying Acer product pre-installed with Genuine Microsoft Windows¨, Acer customers were eligible to participate in the ÒChip-It-UpÓ Contest. One valid purchase was entitled for 1 entry. Submissions were done through the contest microsite located at http://www.chipitup.com.my where customers were required to submit the serial number and proof of purchase for verification. The contest was held from 27 October 2011 to 13 January 2012.

At the prize giving ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Ayu Helena Mat Kamaruddin who came all the way from Kota Bahru, Kelantan was all smiles as she excitedly received the key to her new Perodua Myvi! ÒI did not expect to win a Grand Prize. IÕve participated in contests before but IÕve only won consolation prizes. This is definitely the best prize ever for me!
